Floor Wardens As required by law (Federal, State, and Local Codes), each tenant within a high-rise building is required to have a floor response team. Below are useful Floor Warden Guidelines with detailed information on how each role plays an integral part of the floor emergency response team and useful forms. Useful Resources Tenant Floor Warden Guidelines Floor Warden Team Members and Descriptions Fire Drill & Emergency Action Plan – (an alternate form can also be found in the tenant manual) Physically Impaired / Individuals Requiring Assistance – (an alternate form can also be found in the tenant manual) Why is it that each tenant is required to complete the online safety training? Federal OSHA code 110.38, California State code Title 19 and Los Angeles City Fire Department code LAMC 57.409.1 requires ALL occupants participate in onsite evacuation drills and be trained at least once annually. 1888 CPE has provided you with unlimited 24/7 access to your online fire life safety training system so you can do the online portion of your training at your convenience. It is animated and only takes about 30 minutes. You can also watch each module one at a time at your own pace if you wish. Failure to participate can result in fines and penalties. Why is your participation required? YOUR LIFE SAFETY – Participation is required because there is a direct correlation between preparedness and life safety.
